In order to upgrade the seats at the National Stadium, which were initially placed by the Infrastructure Management Committee at the National Olympic Stadium and do not meet the standards set by AFC and FIFA for hosting international competitions, the Football Federation of Cambodia has submitted a request to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) for financial support. The purpose of this request is to facilitate the replacement of backrest seats to comply with AFC and FIFA standards. The installation of these new seats with backrests will enable Cambodia to host official AFC and FIFA matches. Seats that are removed during this upgrade and are still in usable condition will be provided by the Football Federation of Cambodia to member clubs or other interested parties for their use as needed.
