In the first leg of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, Sri Lanka and Cambodia played out a goalless draw in Colombo on September 6, 2024. Both teams had opportunities to score, but strong defensive displays and excellent goalkeeping from both sides kept the match level. Sri Lanka fielded a couple of overseas players, but neither team could capitalize on their chances.
the second leg of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers between Cambodia and Sri Lanka is scheduled for September 10, 2024, at 7PM in Phnom Penh, Olympic Stadium in Cambodia. Both teams will be looking to secure a win after their scoreless draw in the first leg in Colombo.
